Ukrainian Interpreter (Ukrainian-English)

What you will do

• Provide real-time interpretation between Ukrainian and English during virtual calls.
• Support clients in medical, legal, customer service, and technical support contexts.
• Accurately convey spoken information while maintaining neutrality, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
• Handle scheduled and on-demand calls and document key interaction details when required.
• Follow client-specific terminology, protocols, professional ethics, and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors on complex cases and participate in training, quality assurance activities, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Ukrainian and English, including excellent speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
• Experience in interpretation or translation, ideally in call center, medical, legal, or customer service environments.
• Ability to interpret accurately and neutrally in real time with cultural sensitivity.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable home workspace for remote work.
• Technical skills with online communication platforms, call center software, and basic troubleshooting.
• Professional interpersonal skills, confidentiality awareness, and willingness to participate in ongoing training and feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience in international or multilingual environments.
• Education or certification in languages, interpretation, translation, or a related field.
