TL;DR
IT Data Engineer II MXT (SQL/Cloud Data Engineering): Designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines, enterprise data warehouse solutions, dimensional models, and reporting solutions with an accent on SQL optimization, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud analytics platforms. Focus on building reliable data integrations, optimizing cloud resources and query performance, and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Location: TRC IT HUB, Torreon, El Fresno, Coahuila, Mexico

hirify.global is a large food manufacturing company developing enterprise analytics and cloud-based data capabilities.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, scripting, and approved data engineering frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based ELT and ETL processes.
  • Build and support enterprise data warehouse solutions using dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Kimball methodologies.
  • Develop data models, views, stored procedures, and transformations to improve performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions and visualizations.
  • Support streaming, near-real-time, batch integration, architecture reviews, and cloud resource optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant or practical experience.
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, data architecture, and enterprise integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD deployment practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Relevant IT certification.
  • Experience with DataHub-to-Analytics data movement patterns.
