Queue Management Specialist (Electric Utility)

Location: Hybrid position at 250 Outcropping Way, Folsom, California, USA

Salary: $40.50–$56.69 hourly

What you will do

• Administer generation interconnection queue processes, ISO Tariff requirements, Business Practice Manuals, and Generator Interconnection Agreement modifications.
• Manage assigned projects and processes, including project modifications, contractual milestones, compliance issues, and recommendations for management and legal teams.
• Coordinate with Interconnection Customers, Participating Transmission Owners, ISO staff, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze technical, operational, financial, and project data.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, visualizations, management presentations, databases, and tracking tools.
• Administer financial tracking, deposits, reconciliations, project records, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Two or more years of related experience, including technical, analytical, administrative, project management, regulatory compliance, or process administration work.
• Strong analytical, deductive reasoning, decision-making, communication, documentation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience maintaining data integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, project records, schedules, process timelines, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with reporting, data analysis, dashboard development, visualization, project management tools, software defect management, and business process improvement.
• Experience in the electric utility industry.
• Knowledge of tariff administration, customer service, and records management.
