Associate Director, SAP Center of Excellence (SAP)

Location: Onsite at Allogene headquarters in South San Francisco, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, health insurance, and paid time off.

What you will do

• Own the SAP Center of Excellence and define the SAP roadmap and strategy for current operations and future commercial readiness.
• Serve as SAP Business Owner, maintaining the validated state of the SAP system and overseeing access, incidents, training, exceptions, and business continuity decisions.
• Partner with IT and Quality to maintain compliance with GxP, GMP, SOX, and computerized system lifecycle procedures.
• Develop business cases, project plans, governance materials, and recommendations for new SAP capabilities and expansions.
• Own end-to-end SAP processes across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery, including master data management.
• Lead user acceptance and regression testing, release assessments, super-user networks, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS degree required; a business, science, or engineering degree is preferred, and an MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in ERP, operations, or supply chain roles within biotech or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience as a Business Owner or Business Process Owner for a live SAP or comparable ERP system in a GxP-validated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOX, validation, change control, access management, periodic review, and computerized system lifecycle requirements.
• Experience building or scaling an SAP/ERP Center of Excellence, including governance models and super-user networks.
• U.S. work authorization required; the role is onsite in South San Francisco.
