Staff Product Manager (AI Management)

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own the product vision and roadmap for AI Management modules, including agentic harnesses, LLM routing, policies, context, guardrails, and evaluation.
• Lead cross-functional strategy across engineering, design, product marketing, and executive leadership.
• Manage the full product lifecycle through specifications, backlog prioritization, feature delivery, technical debt, and platform dependencies.
• Connect AI Management with core platform infrastructure through data plane and control plane integration.
• Partner with engineering leads to scope work, manage trade-offs, and accelerate delivery.
• Support field activities, customer-facing technical engagements, and sales enablement.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of technical product management experience delivering products in developer tools, API platforms, or AI infrastructure.
• Ability to translate challenges involving MCP servers, request routing, data plane architectures, and transport trade-offs into product requirements.
• Experience driving execution and dependencies across globally distributed R&D teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication across functions and seniority levels.
• Strong project management skills, including tracking work, surfacing blockers, and maintaining roadmap schedules.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI, AI agents, AI gateways, LLM routing, AI observability, prompt management, guardrails, MCP servers, and A2A communications.
• Familiarity with enterprise platform engineering, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, control planes, and data planes.
