Investment Accounting Analyst II

Location: Warren, New Jersey, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and the remaining days working from home

Salary: $58,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Account for and report investments under U.S. GAAP and U.S. statutory accounting standards.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly investment close processes.
• Prepare U.S. statutory investment schedules and U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Support local reporting for foreign branches and subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with financial reporting and investment management teams.
• Prepare internal-control exhibits and schedules, account reconciliations, periodic analyses, and ad-hoc strategic analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting.
• Accounting experience; business graduates are also considered.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, accounting, and financial processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High proficiency with Excel and the ability to work independently.
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification is preferred; knowledge of PAM, Bloomberg, or Oracle is a plus.
