Copywriter - France (Ecommerce)

Location: Must be based in London, Berlin, or Madrid and work 4 days in office

hirify.global is an ecommerce brand using a manufacturer-to-consumer model, proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to sell affordable apparel, accessories, home goods, and other essentials.

What you will do

• Write concise, compelling copy for paid social, email, push, SMS, print, catalogues, and other marketing channels targeting French consumers.
• Localize and quality-assure creative, website, and app content across homepage, product, and collection pages.
• Write SEM copy and create SEO-optimized content to improve click-through rate, conversion, and visibility.
• Localize weekly product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal content, including 50–100 assets per week.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Smartling AI to improve efficiency and maintain brand-aligned translations.
• Collaborate with creative, merchandising, engineering, SEO, paid search, and customer service teams while maintaining a consistent French brand voice.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of French-English copywriting experience.
• Strong understanding of British English and local nuances compared with US and Canadian English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be based in London, Berlin, or Madrid and work 4 days in office.

Nice to have

• Experience writing for fashion, home, lifestyle, or ecommerce brands.
• English SEM copywriting experience.
• Experience with Smartling and Iterable.
