Instructional Designer

Location: Remote; Flex Designation: Anywhere. Travel up to 5%. Corporate remote work environment.

Salary: $69,500–$104,200 annually, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, performance gaps, and business requirements.
• Design and develop learning solutions across e-learning, instructor-led and virtual training, microlearning, job aids, videos, and blended formats.
• Build interactive custom e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline and use additional tools such as Articulate Rise, Vyond, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Publish and maintain learning content in LMS/LXP platforms using SCORM and/or xAPI standards, troubleshooting issues with LMS administrators.
• Lead design reviews and stakeholder meetings, communicate progress and risks, and maintain project status and learning asset records in Monday.com.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and completion data, then update content and documentation accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in instructional design or learning development, including at least 2 years of hands-on Articulate Storyline experience.
• Strong understanding of instructional design fundamentals and adult learning principles.
• Strong written and visual communication skills, attention to detail, creative problem-solving ability, and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, subject matter, and instructional methods.
• Ability to work safely in a standard corporate remote environment, including extended computer use, video conferencing, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience developing digital learning solutions for corporate, customer service, or operational environments.
• Experience with Vyond, InDesign, or other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, SCORM/xAPI, accessibility, and inclusive design practices.
• Basic project coordination or agile development experience.
