Senior AI Engineer (Agentic AI & ML)

What you will do

• Design end-to-end AI solutions by analysing business problems, selecting Machine Learning approaches, and defining scalable architectures.
• Build production-grade agentic AI systems with Large Language Models and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.
• Develop and improve Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval solutions.
• Build robust Python backend services and APIs for AI applications, including asynchronous and long-running processes.
• Prototype, validate, and iterate on new AI capabilities with engineering and product stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and research directions while driving reliability, maintainability, and architectural quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial experience building Machine Learning systems.
• Proven ML technical leadership, including business problem analysis, approach selection, end-to-end solution design, and technical decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with agentic orchestration, multi-agent systems, state management, tool calling, and structured outputs.
• Production experience with Large Language Models, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, retrieval optimization, prompt engineering, and context management.
• Strong Python skills plus experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks, Pydantic or similar validation frameworks, async programming, Docker, and vector databases.
• Ability to work independently in fast-changing R&D and Proof-of-Concept environments with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Gemini, or Vertex AI RAG Engine.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and willingness to work with GCP.
• Experience combining LLMs with Computer Vision, signal processing, or other multimodal AI systems.
• Experience fine-tuning foundation models or adapting open-source LLMs.
• Experience designing AI evaluation and benchmarking pipelines.
