Technical Lead Learning Experience Designer (AI)

Location: 100% remote from approved operating countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. The role requires flexibility for meetings across time zones, particularly in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Salary: $45–$55 USD per hour for U.S. candidates; €23–€35 per hour for European candidates; $15–$25 USD per hour for South Asian candidates; and $20–$38 USD per hour for APAC candidates.

What you will do

• Own the client-facing learning design process from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery.
• Design and develop instructor-led programs covering AI, emerging technology, digital transformation, technical skills, leadership, and workplace productivity.
• Create slides, hands-on labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, learner workbooks, and workplace exercises.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, practical learning experiences with subject matter experts.
• Enable instructors through delivery guidance, tool setup instructions, troubleshooting materials, and facilitation notes.
• Lead the development of reusable learning components, templates, activities, assessments, and scalable product structures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field.
• Significant experience creating instructor-led training for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Experience managing clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners through content development.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools.

Nice to have

• Technical proficiency in AI, data science, or coding, including Python, APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub, virtual machines, cloud-based labs, sandbox environments, or technical learning environments.
• Experience designing AI training labs, coding exercises, model-building workshops, or real-world AI case studies.
• Experience creating enterprise AI adoption programs, technical academies, digital transformation programs, or role-based learning journeys.
