Software Development Engineer II (C#)

Location: Hybrid in Irving, Texas, United States; two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop product features across React UI, middle-tier and backend services, APIs, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to automated testing, test data management, peer reviews, and implementation of security controls.
• Maintain a production-first focus on scalability, uptime, and rapid triage and resolution of production issues.
• Optimize data access and queries to deliver scalable and performant products and services.
• Participate in Agile Scrum practices and collaborate across teams to improve product quality, delivery speed, and team effectiveness.
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve workflows, evaluate outputs, and support research, summarization, and content generation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in C# and experience developing new features and automated tests.
• Experience with data and query analysis, optimization, and scalable application development.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, troubleshooting complex problems, and collaborating across teams.
• Knowledge of Azure, including Service Bus, Microsoft SQL Server, Kubernetes, and message queuing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Git, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service, PowerShell, Bash, Oracle, React, or Angular.
• Experience integrating AI into workflows and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
