IT Engineer Intern (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; remote-first within the country of employment, with occasional in-person work and an in-person onboarding experience for new hires.

Compensation: USA hourly base pay of $55.00; USA monthly base pay of $9,500.

What you will do

• Develop and ship a meaningful engineering project during a 12–16 week internship.
• Verify that the project works in production and monitor the deployment of the shipped code.
• Collaborate with a mentor and manager to define a project that contributes to the assigned team.
• Meet regularly with a dedicated mentor, receive feedback, and incorporate guidance into the work.
• Present the completed project to the engineering organization at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Passion and dedication to improving consumer banking.
• Experience with Python, C, C++, or Java.
• Frontend experience with web applications, JavaScript, AngularJS, or React.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, deployment, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with API development and documentation, as well as AWS or other PaaS frameworks.
• Strong communication skills.
