Assurance Principal

What you will do

• Lead assurance and consulting engagements for industry-specific middle-market clients.
• Build year-round client relationships, understand business objectives, and provide financial and operational guidance.
• Develop and implement testing to assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork, engagement staffing, billing, collections, quality, timelines, and profitability.
• Generate new client and project opportunities while collaborating across service lines.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and firm learning programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; a master’s or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm; life sciences experience is desired.
• 5+ years of experience in life sciences, technology, and/or manufacturing preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates, desired.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship preferred.
