Junior Business Systems Analyst (Accounting & Financial Systems)

What you will do

• Investigate application issues and processing errors reported by Accounting, Finance, and Tax teams.
• Review queues, transactions, files, interfaces, and data to identify root causes and resolve missing or incorrect information.
• Configure application parameters, mappings, rules, and other financial-system settings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accounting-impact reviews.
• Assist with testing, QA/UAT, defect investigation, and validation of system changes.
• Document findings, configuration changes, testing evidence, resolutions, and escalation paths.

Requirements

• Background or education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or testing business, ERP, accounting, reconciliation, or financial systems.
• Understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and financial data flows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work with data, files, interfaces, configurations, and application workflows while investigating incomplete information.
• Ability to collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, financial close, reconciliation, or other business applications.
• Exposure to QA/UAT tools such as QTest.
