CAD Drafter (SolidWorks)

What you will do

• Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from project specifications, sketches, and notes.
• Build final drawing packets from Trachte job specifications, maintaining consistent design standards, dimensions, scaling, and CAD operations.
• Use SolidWorks and related equipment to create technical drawings.
• Adjust drawings based on customer or Project Manager requests.
• Maintain job logs and historical references for project tracking and documentation.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of experience working in a CAD department is strongly preferred.
• Proven understanding of SolidWorks is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and knowledge of an ERP system.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate with customers or organizational employees.
