What you will do

• Design, program, integrate, test, commission, and support PLC-, HMI-, and industrial control systems for gas purification and material delivery equipment.
• Translate process requirements, P&IDs, operating sequences, safety requirements, and cause-and-effect matrices into reliable automation strategies.
• Specify and integrate controllers, industrial networks, instrumentation, analyzers, valves, drives, safety devices, panels, and related electrical hardware.
• Build secure, contextualized, data-ready control architectures supporting diagnostics, analytics, digital twins, predictive insights, and AI-assisted decision support.
• Develop alarm management, event logging, trending, equipment health indicators, and troubleshooting functions.
• Create and execute software, simulation, factory acceptance, site acceptance, and commissioning tests while applying cybersecurity, configuration-management, and continuous-improvement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in controls, electrical, computer, mechanical, mechatronics, chemical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on controls, automation, or process-control engineering experience in a process-industry environment.
• Experience designing, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC- and HMI-based industrial control systems.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, feedback loops, interlocks, permissives, alarms, sequencing, and industrial communication networks.
• Ability to produce and interpret control narratives, functional specifications, I/O lists, P&IDs, electrical drawings, network diagrams, and test protocols.
• Strong communication, engineering judgment, structured problem-solving, version control, peer review, defect tracking, and controlled change-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, RSLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider Machine Expert, FactoryTalk, Ignition, or GP-Pro EX.
• Exposure to C, C#, Python, SQL, scripting, APIs, data historians, edge computing, or industrial data platforms.
• Experience with simulation, model-based systems engineering, digital twins, data analytics, machine learning, AI-assisted engineering, high-purity gas systems, semiconductor equipment, functional safety, or regulated manufacturing.
