Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) Web and Service Servers (W&SS) (Epic)

Location: US work from home

Salary: $99,704–$146,270.30 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Maintain Hyperspace Web server environments and configurations, troubleshooting availability, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Administer Epic Interconnect environments, deployments, endpoints, connections, and web-service health.
• Maintain server-side infrastructure supporting MyChart and coordinate changes with application, networking, and security teams.
• Administer Windows Server and IIS components, including TLS certificates, load balancers, DNS dependencies, and secure connectivity.
• Deploy approved updates across nonproduction and production environments, preparing implementation plans and rollback procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure reliability, automate operational checks, maintain runbooks, communicate incidents, and coordinate vendor escalations.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on Epic ECSA experience in a hospital or health system.
• Current Epic ECSA certification covering Hyperspace Web and Interconnect.
• Production administration and troubleshooting experience with Hyperspace Web, Interconnect, and MyChart infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, TLS certificates, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load-balancing concepts.
• Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and PowerShell or comparable scripting for administrative automation.
• Ability to distinguish application, server, network, and database issues and coordinate troubleshooting across teams.

Nice to have

• Epic ECSA MyChart certification.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancing, Epic printing, Business Continuity Access, cloud, or automation.
