Maintenance Technician IV, Lead (Days) (Biomanufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead emergency repairs, rebuilding, inspections, equipment changeovers, line turnarounds, testing, adjustments, and preventative maintenance for process equipment.
• Troubleshoot electronic, environmental monitoring, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical line equipment using appropriate testing and measuring tools.
• Monitor equipment and system performance, complete work orders, and maintain batch records, logs, and GMP documentation.
• Lead equipment installations and upgrades in accordance with site SOPs, cGMPs, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Train operators and Process Maintenance Technicians on equipment setup, adjustments, repairs, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
• Support 5S, continuous improvement, project implementation, validation activities, MRO procedures, inventory control, cleaning, and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Significant experience maintaining and supporting equipment performance in a regulated production environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment change parts, tooling, and maintenance materials.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems such as Maximo or SAP.
• Ability to lead a small team of technical resources in a cGMP environment.
• Work authorization sponsorship, including visa support, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, associate degree in engineering, or related mechanical trade school training.
• Experience with automated equipment, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and electrical or mechanical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of Maximo, SAP, ADP, KRONOS, MRP systems, OEE, TPM, LEAN, planning, and scheduling.
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
