Fullstack Software Developer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, based in Ontario, Canada

hirify.global develops enterprise asset management, maintenance management, and planning software and provides advisory services for local, First Nations, and regional governments across North America.

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services, frontend applications, and integrated web applications for the hirify.global Enterprise system.
• Build user interfaces and experiences, implement features, resolve defects, and improve existing software.
• Develop robust, efficient, readable, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
• Use AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot for design, coding, debugging, testing, and refactoring.
• Apply prompt engineering, AI agent workflows, and human-AI collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, support staff, and Business Analysts in an Agile environment from requirements analysis through release.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–10 years of fullstack development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Angular, Symfony, Sass, Node, Git, Linux, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to create and modify complex stored procedures and functions.
• Experience building scalable, secure, user-focused web applications and web services.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, communication, software quality, and knowledge-transfer skills, including experience with legacy applications and source code repositories.
