Cash Forecasting Analyst (Finance/Treasury)

What you will do

• Own the Fuel division’s cash flow forecast, covering approximately £200m in weekly gross cash flows.
• Build, maintain and improve short- and long-term cash forecasting models based on business drivers and expected cash movements.
• Monitor actual cash flows against forecasts, investigate variances and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and the Group Treasury Team to validate assumptions and optimise cash positions.
• Produce reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders and resolve cash forecasting discrepancies.
• Improve forecasting processes, controls, tools and automation while supporting wider Finance projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Cash Management or a similar analytical role.
• Strong experience in cash flow forecasting, financial modelling or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and variance-analysis skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience producing reporting for senior stakeholders and managing cross-business relationships.
• Ability to prioritise work, meet tight deadlines and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
