Full Stack Software Engineer, Financial Systems (Fintech/Data Engineering): Building and supporting full stack applications, financial data pipelines, integrations, reporting workflows, and data-driven tools for billing, payments, and finance operations with an accent on SQL, data quality, auditability, and scalability. Focus on designing reliable financial data flows, troubleshooting production issues, modernizing finance workflows, and improving application maintainability across backend, frontend, and data systems.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full stack applications for the Financial Systems team.
- Build backend services, database logic, integrations, SQL routines, data pipelines, reporting datasets, and validation workflows for high-volume financial data.
- Contribute to and review front-end applications, architecture, UI behavior, data contracts, and integration patterns.
- Support billing, payments, merchant reporting, month-end close, and other internal financial workflows.
- Diagnose production issues involving application behavior, data quality, integrations, performance, and financial output accuracy.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, QA, data, and engineering stakeholders; improve testing, observability, documentation, automation, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on backend development experience with .NET, C#, VB.NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Strong SQL experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, query optimization, data validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, reporting datasets, or large-scale operational data workflows.
- Experience with front-end development or review using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of SDLC practices, Git, code review, testing, deployment, production support, technical documentation, and agile delivery.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial systems, fintech, payments, billing, revenue operations, accounting operations, or ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of financial data quality, audit controls, compliance-sensitive workflows, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience modernizing legacy or SQL-heavy systems and automating manual finance operations.
- Experience with observability, logging, alerting, performance tuning, incident response, or engineering mentorship.
