Associate Director, Site Reliability (Biotech)

Location: Bend, Oregon, United States; fully site-based. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Develop and lead reliability strategies to improve asset performance, equipment uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support site goals and regulatory compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Analyze maintenance and asset performance data to identify trends and improve reliability programs.
• Optimize asset criticality assessments, spare parts strategies, and reliability and maintenance KPIs.
• Support audits, continuous improvement activities, and new equipment projects while communicating results to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Significant experience in reliability, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or operations environments.
• Experience leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment reliability practices.
• Experience using maintenance management and asset performance systems for decision-making.
• Knowledge of cGMP environments, engineering standards, and maintenance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder-influence, and continuous-improvement skills.
