Area Reliability Coordinator (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Own and plan equipment reliability activities across assigned value streams.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities using root cause analysis and hirify.global Business System tools.
• Coordinate with operations to create opportunity windows for planned repair work.
• Participate in value stream and Equipment Services meetings, project design reviews, and equipment serviceability assessments.
• Evaluate equipment downtime, maintenance backlogs, and parts availability while communicating risks and solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Execute and coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective maintenance according to schedules, procedures, quality systems, ERP, and CMMS requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, controls, pneumatics, mechanical, fluidics, and optical devices.
• Ability to lift or carry 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Must work on-site in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Nice to have

• Ability to make decisions and perform repairs using experience and judgment when instructions are unavailable.
• Experience learning, deploying, and documenting root cause analyses and equipment breakdown investigations.
