Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead, Public Sector (AI)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; requires on-site support for demonstrations in secure environments, including SCIFs and classified networks.

Base salary: $166,400–$249,000 per year, plus eligible equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead multiple software demonstration efforts from concept through customer demonstration and after-action reporting.
• Translate mission needs, CONOPS, and use cases into system requirements, demo objectives, and success criteria.
• Own system architecture and interface definitions with the Chief Engineer and Chief Architect, coordinating software, data, third-party, and government-furnished components.
• Build and execute integration and test plans, procedures, and verification matrices.
• Plan and run environment setup, dry runs, rehearsals, go/no-go reviews, and customer demonstrations.
• Manage classified integration and test environments, technical reviews, configuration baselines, change control, and technical risk.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience, including 5+ years integrating and testing software-intensive systems.
• 3+ years in a technical lead role on DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
• Hands-on experience delivering software demonstrations, prototypes, or rapid capability efforts to government customers.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, verification and validation, interface control, and risk management.
• Experience working in classified environments, including SCIFs, air-gapped networks, and cross-domain constraints, plus knowledge of RMF and ATO processes.
