Grid Operations Manager (Robotics)

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 base salary annually

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations of the R&D facility used for robot use-case testing.
• Lead workcell builds from initial space design through assembly, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Plan facility floor layouts for incoming equipment, temporary builds, and operational workflows.
• Maintain an organized, functional, safe, and collaborative environment for engineering and operations teams.
• Keep cross-functional teams aligned throughout technical buildout projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in space planning, industrial facility management, or hardware project management.
• Experience using CAD software for 2D/3D facility layouts, workcell placement, and spatial planning.
• Experience managing technical buildouts or workcell projects from concept through completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and team-first approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge of building electrical infrastructure, power loads, and drop planning for industrial machinery or workcells.
• Hands-on experience with custom fabrication, mechanical assembly, prototyping, shop tools, or physical test rigs.
