Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Vue.js)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite at least two days per week

Salary: $105,100–$175,100 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable, secure, and reliable web applications.
• Build Vue.js interfaces and TypeScript backend services with Node.
• Develop cloud-based microservices for authentication, identity and access management, invoicing, payment terms, and address books.
• Lead technical improvements, documentation, incident resolution, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate AI-driven workflows into design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including cloud-based systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with multiple programming languages, preferably including Python.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud microservices with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and observability.
• Understanding of AI concepts including large language models and agentic engineering, plus experience using AI tools in software development.
• Experience with fullstack architecture, Vue.js, Node, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, observability, automated testing, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
