Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

Location: Fully remote within UTC -1 to UTC +3 time zones

Initial 12-month fixed-term contract with potential to extend or transition into a permanent role.

What you will do

• Build and operate event-driven microservices for hirify.global Mobility's e-mobility financing platform.
• Own backend solutions end to end, from architecture decisions through production monitoring and eventual decommissioning.
• Develop C#/.NET services using Azure, Service Bus, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Implement observability, monitoring, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers across the software lifecycle and contribute to technical quality and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong C#/.NET development experience.
• Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies such as Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with microservices architecture and major cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with testing, deployment, DevOps practices, and production support.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar.
