Software Engineer (Backend)

Location: Fully remote; European residence mandatory

What you will do

• Build and deliver backend software solutions for client engineering projects.
• Design and implement modern backend architectures, including microservices.
• Build and deploy cloud-based solutions using services such as Azure and AWS.
• Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Manage client-facing software engineering projects and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial development experience.
• Backend development experience with multiple languages and frameworks, including C#, .NET, C++, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with modern backend architecture principles and microservices.
• Experience building and deploying cloud solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-sufficient working style.
• Excellent written and spoken English and residence in Europe are required.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, processes, and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
