Principal Delivery Manager (Portfolio Management)

Location: Remote, United States; ability to travel approximately 4+ times per year for in-person collaboration.

Annual full-time starting base salary: $145,000–$188,000, plus eligibility for annual incentive and equity programs.

What you will do

• Own the delivery strategy and operating model for Portfolio Management, including planning, tracking, reviews, executive communication, and outcome measurement.
• Establish the first dedicated delivery function and define standards, metrics, and engagement models for execution and release planning.
• Lead delivery discovery for multi-team initiatives by scoping commitments, surfacing unknowns, and reducing delivery risk before work begins.
• Coordinate dependencies across Portfolio Management and partner organizations, proactively resolving complex cross-team issues.
• Partner with executive leadership on sequencing, prioritization, and delivery trade-offs.
• Guide other Delivery Managers through informal coaching and example.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs across multiple organizations.
• Experience building delivery structures, processes, or engagement models where no established approach existed and driving adoption.
• Experience defining delivery metrics or standards adopted beyond the originating team.
• Strong executive-level communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to make clear recommendations.
• Experience coordinating across organizations, anticipating unknowns, managing late changes, and informally coaching delivery professionals.

• Experience with portfolio management, capital allocation, or credit portfolio functions.
