Interface / Integration Developer with German (Java/Kotlin)

Location: Germany. Fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work arrangements are available.

Salary: EUR 2,000–3,000 gross per month. Additional annual bonus of up to EUR 1,000 per month may be available depending on expertise and participation in company activities.

What you will do

• Maintain data and message interfaces between business applications.
• Migrate data and develop and maintain ETL processes.
• Support the planned decommissioning of ISGA-alt, including data transfer.
• Contribute to the modernization and consolidation of a custom regulatory software platform.
• Support reliable operations on secure on-premises infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience working with XML and JSON.
• Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, preferably in a server-side environment.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above and German at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
• Availability to work from Germany.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German e-government standards, including OZG, XÖV, OSCI, or XTA.
• Experience with Go.
• Experience with AI and low-code capabilities.
