Junior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - New Product (m/f/x)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Munich or Berlin offices, Germany. International relocation support is available if required, with an opportunity to work from abroad.

What you will do

• Join a cross-functional team focused on expanding a new financial product.
• Build and operate a rapidly growing European neo-broker.
• Develop software using agile, self-sufficient team practices.
• Work with continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud infrastructure, and modern development tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to solve technical and product challenges.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, Java, SQL, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, and Terraform.
• Structured problem-solving approach and strong analytical thinking.
• Clear, concise communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for well-architected, testable, and documented code.
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, microservices, or financial services is advantageous.
