DataOps Lead Data Analyst (AI)

Location: United States Work at Home. Remote work requires cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Annual salary: USD 82,200–137,000, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders, product, analytics, AI, Data Operations, and technology teams to understand objectives, processes, and data needs.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and translate customer needs into functional requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, data definitions, mappings, and readiness criteria.
• Perform data discovery, profiling, quality assessment, analysis, and remediation identification.
• Develop analytical datasets, reusable data assets, prototypes, and Gold layer data solutions when analyst-led delivery is appropriate.
• Define and execute functional testing, test cases, business acceptance validation, customer feedback, adoption, and transition activities.
• Identify process improvement, workflow automation, AI, and integrated-solution opportunities; prepare documentation, training, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data products, analytics consulting, or enterprise solution delivery.
• Experience translating business needs and operational processes into functional requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and data specifications.
• Strong experience with data discovery, profiling, data quality assessment, testing, business validation, and solution adoption.
• Proficiency with SQL, data analysis techniques, and enterprise analytical tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional business, product, technology, and data teams.
• Experience supporting business process automation, workflow solutions, or AI-enabled capabilities and translating requirements into actionable solution designs.
• Understanding of enterprise data platforms, integration patterns, analytics, AI, metadata, and automation technologies.
• Strong customer engagement, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprises is preferred; this is not a pure reporting, dashboard development, data engineering, software development, governance policy ownership, or passive advisory role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms and data product development.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms, low-code solutions, process mining, or AI-enabled business solutions.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data governance practices, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
