Senior Data Analyst (Data Quality & Reporting), Brazil

Location: Brazil; remote home-office position

What you will do

• Define and run data quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated data, approved Finance benchmarks, and closed accounting periods.
• Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards against legacy-source outputs, including parallel-run comparisons during cutover.
• Profile data quality issues and reconciliation variances, and work with Data Engineering to identify and document root causes.
• Build and maintain data quality dashboards and reports in Power BI or an equivalent enterprise BI tool.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality thresholds.
• Produce reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, sign-off packages, and maintainable documentation for delivery gates and post-handoff support.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a data analyst or BI analyst with strong hands-on SQL for querying, validating, and reconciling data.
• Hands-on experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
• Experience with a data-quality or reconciliation framework or methodology, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
• Experience with financial/accounting, FP&A, or Mortgage data, including closed-period reconciliation constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation of data quality findings.
• Fluent English at B2 level to coordinate quality findings and evidence directly with client stakeholders at delivery gates.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial or GL reporting domains, including chart of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.
• Experience validating report or dashboard migrations from a legacy source system to a new platform.
