Sr. Clinical Application Analyst - Beaker

What you will do

• Support, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Epic Beaker and related clinical and revenue cycle applications.
• Design and optimize EHR workflows using human factors principles to improve usability and clinical decision-making.
• Lead integration testing, user acceptance testing, validation, upgrades, and go-live readiness activities.
• Gather clinical and operational requirements, document workflows, and support application-specific projects.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and operational stakeholders to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
• Support HIPAA, HITECH, security, risk management, and application compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least three years of healthcare experience and three years of Epic or related application build experience.
• Epic certification in two or more relevant modules, including one module for the assigned application area, is required.
• Experience with application support, configuration, troubleshooting, requirements gathering, and EHR testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Project management experience is preferred; project management training must be completed within one year.

Nice to have

• At least one year of project management experience.
• Epic usability training and Lean certification or training.
• Experience with human factors design and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, health administration, nursing, medical technology, or a related field.
