Combustion Engineer Specialist (Industrial Combustion)

Location: Hybrid, based in Paris, Strasbourg, or Saint Quentin Fallavier, France, with regular travel across France and Europe.

What you will do

• Drive growth of combustion applications by identifying, developing, and securing customer opportunities.
• Act as the technical expert in customer engagements and support sales teams.
• Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and support projects through start-up.
• Provide process expertise for combustion applications across France, Northern Europe, and selected European opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Deliver technical training and represent hirify.global at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in industrial combustion technologies; around 5 years of highly relevant experience may also be considered.
• Technical expertise in glass, aluminium, cement, steel, or other high-temperature manufacturing environments.
• Prior sales experience and the ability to translate process expertise into customer value.
• Master's degree in combustion, process, chemical, mechanical, or energy engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Fluent French and English are required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with willingness to travel regularly across France and Europe.
