Development Engineer Airframe (F/M)

Location: hirify.global site in Marignane, Marseille Area, France

Company

hirify.global develops helicopters and new aerospace platforms, including their airframe structures and demonstrators.

What you will do

• Design new helicopter structures, subassemblies, and individual parts from preliminary design through serial production.
• Create CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, and release documentation for prototypes, test rigs, test parts, pre-series, and serial aircraft.
• Design complex composite, milled, and formed sheet-metal components for helicopter primary structures.
• Define manufacturing processes with manufacturing, tooling design, and quality teams, and support industrialization.
• Support flying prototypes, determine retrofit solutions, and coordinate with other helicopter systems departments.
• Schedule and follow certification activities through issuance of the Type Certificate while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of composite materials, metallic lightweight materials, helicopter technology, and helicopter structures.
• Experience with CATIA V5, VPM, SAP, and MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, flexibility, teamwork, and autonomy.
• French and English at negotiation level are required.
• The position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.
