Factory Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Finspång, Sweden; the role supports projects in North America and requires business travel.

Energy technology organization developing, manufacturing, installing, servicing, and modernizing gas turbines and other power-generation equipment to support decarbonization.

What you will do

• Coordinate and drive gas turbine projects from sales handover through shipment, installation, and commissioning.
• Lead a cross-functional project team of 10–15 members, including project managers, engineers, purchasers, quality managers, and logistics managers.
• Ensure delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, quality requirements, and project strategies.
• Maintain customer-related communication and collaborate with the global project management team in North America.
• Monitor progress and report to local and regional management while aligning stakeholders across the organization.
• Promote safe project execution in line with Zero Harm principles and decarbonization objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading projects and project teams with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to work proactively under pressure and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how project decisions affect business results.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, energy, engineering, or another technical business environment.
• Experience working with North American organizations or projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
