R&D Technician III

Location: San Diego, CA, United States. Onsite interview required.

What you will do

• Build and assemble prototype materials, components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• Construct, operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, maintain, and test laboratory equipment, systems, and products.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, chemical, and optical laboratory functions.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Perform tests, analyze data, write reports, and maintain detailed development documentation.
• Assist with technology transfer and cross-functional discussions about device performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using buffers and running instruments.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to disassemble and reassemble instruments.
• Strong teamwork skills and flexibility to handle varied tasks.
