Project Coordinator – International Service Contracts EU&AF

Location: Lisbon/Amadora, Portugal; hybrid remote/office work, with remote work permitted within Portugal. The role includes travel to power plants across Europe and Africa.

What you will do

• Prepare maintenance events for large rotating equipment.
• Ensure the availability of parts, suppliers, and field service teams.
• Manage sub-projects with increasing complexity and risk.
• Coordinate with project management, project execution, engineering, assembly, and tooling teams.
• Support service projects across Europe and Africa, including Long-Term Programs, standard service business, and Operations & Maintenance projects.
• Contribute to the transformation of the project portfolio and effective project execution.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering, or several years of experience in the energy sector.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Assistant, including work with international teams.
• Knowledge of service-specific processes, tools, IT systems, and the hirify.global portfolio.
• Understanding of market dynamics, health and safety regulations, and team development.
• Fluent English required; German, French, or Spanish is advantageous.
• Strong customer relationship, autonomy, creativity, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

• IPMA certification.
• German, French, or Spanish language skills.
