MES Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; onsite manufacturing environment supporting turbine head production.

What you will do

• Serve as the main MES point of contact for manufacturing employees and support effective system utilization.
• Provide first-level functional and IT support, resolving MES incidents and operational issues.
• Gather requirements from production and shopfloor teams and identify process, system, and workflow improvements.
• Coordinate between manufacturing, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support MES projects, system enhancements, testing, implementations, and global digitalization initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to stable manufacturing operations and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, production support, or an IT environment.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP and related business processes is advantageous.
• IT-related education or experience in IT, digitalization, or manufacturing systems is a plus.
• Fluent English is required. German language proficiency is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and continuously develop professional competencies.
