Assistant Buyer - Brands - Fixed Term Contract (Retail)

Location: Leicester, United Kingdom; typically 5 days in the office. Core hours are flexible between 8am and 6pm.

hirify.global operates a growing Brands department focused on brand ranges, product selection, and retail trading.

What you will do

• Support brand management, buying, range development, and range reviews across the Brands department.
• Manage account relationships, product selection, and in-season trading to maximise sales opportunities.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to coordinate commercial activity.
• Suggest new brands and support their launch on the hirify.global website.
• Maintain product systems accurately and ensure critical dates and deadlines are met.
• Manage and develop the workload of a Trainee Buyer.

Requirements

• Established experience in a relevant buying or product-focused role.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Genuine interest in lingerie and a strong eye for product.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
• Experience managing or mentoring others is required for supporting the Trainee Buyer.
• Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet UK Home Office sponsorship requirements.
