Buyer - Brands - Fixed Term Contract

Location: Leicester, United Kingdom; typically 5 days in the office. Core hours are flexible between 8am and 6pm.

What you will do

• Lead brand management, range selection, and trading activity across the brands division.
• Support the buying, development, and review of brand mixes and product ranges on a maternity cover basis.
• Manage account relationships, select products, and trade ranges in season to maximise sales opportunities.
• Work closely with merchandising colleagues and manage the workload and development of Assistant Buyers.
• Propose new brands for launch on the hirify.global website.
• Maintain product systems accurately and ensure critical dates and deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Established experience in a relevant buying or brand-focused role.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong interest in brands across categories and a keen eye for product.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
• Experience managing or mentoring colleagues, including supporting and training Assistant Buyers.
• Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet UK Home Office sponsorship requirements.
