Senior Java Software Engineer with Angular (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications and RESTful microservices.
• Build event-driven, asynchronous, and distributed systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Integrate relational databases and write optimized SQL queries while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Docker-based deployments, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and the development of engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and use AI development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience with Java 8 or above.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, the Spring ecosystem, and Angular 19.
• Experience designing RESTful microservices and working with asynchronous, message-driven, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile practices.
• Regular use of AI tools, including responsible prompt design, output validation, and ownership of final results.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, Java performance tuning, monitoring, and backend security.
• Experience with Node.js, kf-theme, or material-ui.
