Tech Lead Fullstack Java/Angular Developer (with GCP)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Lead technical teams and orchestrate complex software development projects.
• Develop fullstack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, Maven, and Git.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and operate cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Spanner, and Cloud Storage.
• Support continuous integration and delivery using Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, and Google Cloud Build.
• Contribute to solutions supporting investment banking and financial services operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a similar field; equivalent experience is considered.
• 9+ years of professional software development experience, including technical team leadership or complex project orchestration.
• Strong Java experience, preferably with Java 17 or 21, object-oriented principles, design patterns, and clean code.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Cloud, Maven, Git, and Angular, with 9+ years of Angular experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL databases such as Oracle, CI/CD tools, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced English level and availability for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon are required.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
