Project Engineering Manager (Waste-to-X)

Location: Bolzano, Italy; full-time, onsite role

Salary: €55,000 gross per year minimum, with final compensation based on level, skills, experience, and qualifications

What you will do

• Lead the executive and detailed design of plants in line with contractual specifications, regulations, authorizations, and company directives.
• Manage the project engineering team and ensure delivery of project goals and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate technical communication with customers, consortium partners, consultants, and authorities.
• Drive concurrent engineering activities with discipline engineering teams.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets for engineering design and calculations.
• Define purchase specifications for plant components according to company standards.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in civil, mechanical, energy, or environmental engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in the energy, renewables, or environmental technology sector.
• Strong expertise in energy plant design, including mechanical layouts, piping, sensors, materials, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating technical team members.
• Proficiency with P&IDs, AutoCAD, Revit or Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
• Italian at C1+ and English at B2+ required, with strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
