Network Systems and Solutions Engineer (IPU)

What you will do

• Support customers integrating hirify.global Ethernet products and IPU technologies.
• Contribute to board and platform bring-up, device initialization, OS driver and kernel configuration, system management, testing, debugging, and verification.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers and internal engineering, architecture, program management, and product management teams.
• Create application notes, user guides, and white papers for customer designs.
• Develop tools and software to improve product quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Analyze customer designs and feedback to guide improvements to current and next-generation products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience with networking fundamentals, including NICs, hardware accelerators, switching, or modern data-center protocols.
• Experience with NIC hardware and software stacks, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux distributions, PCIe devices, network management protocols, system debugging, and networking solutions engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Santa Clara, California, or Hillsboro, Oregon.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ethernet products, cloud service providers, data-center workloads, RDMA, collectives, or AI benchmarking.
• Knowledge of secure boot flows and trusted computing environments.
• Understanding of platform firmware, device drivers, the Linux kernel, and user-space application performance.
• Experience with GCC, Git, GitHub, RPM, Make, shell scripting, Docker, or Jenkins.
