Senior Technical Specialist (Mobile Core Signalling)

Location: Macquarie Park, NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Design and develop technology solutions for the Mobile Core Signalling domain across 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
• Define future-state architecture, technology roadmaps, and scalable development guidelines.
• Create documentation for system integration, data flows, and interfaces with OSS/BSS and upstream IT systems.
• Own the signalling platform lifecycle from design and implementation through upgrades and operational optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate with vendors to support innovation.
• Ensure solutions comply with ICT, information security, cybersecurity, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Subject-matter expertise in the Mobile Core Signalling domain.
• Strong proficiency with relevant platforms, tools, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience in strategic consulting, technical mentoring, and securing organizational buy-in.
• Experience aligning commercial and operational requirements, including financial forecasting, service costing, and product roadmaps.
