What you will do
- Lead Core Banking Technology Operations, including incident triage, service requests, technology risks, SLA adherence, and service quality.
- Own the IT Risk and Controls framework, including remediation, control evidence, operational risk management, governance, and compliance improvements.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and security processes for a secure technology environment.
- Partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to define service roadmaps, KPIs, operational priorities, and continuous improvements.
- Develop lifecycle management and operational roadmaps, build business cases, and keep technology assets secure, supported, and fit for purpose.
- Coach team members and promote operational excellence, automation, continuous improvement, and a risk-aware culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, Core Banking, Technology Operations, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong background in IT Engineering, Software Development with Java or .NET, Cloud technologies, and application architecture.
- Experience with IT Risk, Operational Controls, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.
