Financial Analyst

Location: Mexico City; residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the office, no more than one hour away

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze monthly expense reports by area and cost centre.
• Perform risk and operational analyses of expenses against budgets and forecasts.
• Review key variances with budget owners and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Support budget and forecast preparation, financial modeling, and expense management.
• Submit monthly expense information to the UK Finance team while maintaining accurate and timely reporting.
• Support financial reporting, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, graduation in progress, or recent graduate status with internship experience.
• At least one year of Financial Analyst experience if already working professionally.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Intermediate English at B1 level, spoken and written, for UK meetings and email communication.
• Residence in Mexico City within a maximum one-hour commute from the office.
• Ability to work under high workloads, including periods ending around 7–8 pm.

Nice to have

• Experience in smaller firms or global environments.
• Advisory, audit, or Big Four experience.
• Excel macros, Power BI, or ERP systems such as Contpaq, SAP, or Oracle.
• Relevant industry experience.
