Project Manager (Data Centre)

Location: Rosebery, Sydney, Australia. Work model: On-site.

Salary: AUD 160,000–190,000 per annum, with flexibility up to AUD 200,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Deliver large-scale data centre projects from site mobilisation through completion.
• Lead larger project delivery teams and coordinate on-site activities.
• Manage project finances, commercial performance, and delivery outcomes.
• Apply practical technical knowledge to address site delivery requirements.
• Report to the Data Centre Business Line Manager.

Requirements

• Formal project management experience.
• Direct experience delivering data centre projects within a contractor or trade environment.
• Experience managing larger delivery teams.
• Strong financial acumen and commercial management capability.
• Practical understanding of technical requirements and on-site delivery.
• Local Sydney candidates are prioritised; suitable candidates from APAC or the UK may also be considered.

Nice to have

• Tools or trade background.
• Previous technician or Site Manager experience.
• Progression from hands-on delivery into project management.
• Direct data centre contracting experience is preferred over a primarily NBN or telecommunications background.
